Our mission is simple, to encourage disabled women and girls everywhere to enjoy the benefits of dance. From week commencing 17th of January we are holding 10 inclusive dance sessions which will help to celebrate International Women's Day on the 8th of March.
For women aged 17 and over
Whatever your dancing ability, our online dance sessions will be taking place over 10 weeks from week commencing 17th of January. Each session will be 45 minutes long and will run for 10 weeks and be held via zoom.
These sessions will be with Emma W, on Tuesdays @ 8.15-9pm, starting 18th January .
Girls aged 16 and under
Adapted for the younger dancers, the sessions will still take place over the course of 10 weeks. Each session will be 45 minutes long and will run for 10 weeks and be held via zoom.
These sessions will be with Ruby, Saturdays @ 11-11.45am, starting 22nd January.
Do you still want to be a part of This Girl Can Dance but can't commit to the 10 week sessions? Our library of pre-recorded videos will be accessible to all ages, including a performance routine for the Inclusive Dance Day.

Celebrate with Para Dance UK with an online Day of Dance! You will have an opportunity to showcase the performance routine that you have learnt from our pre-recorded videos to show the world that This Girl Can Dance!

To join the sessions, simply click the registration links above and fill out your details. An email will be sent to you on how to access the zoom or with the video links.
Yes, the sessions are taking place over 10 weeks. However, you can join in, in any one of them. The more the merrier! It doesn't matter if you have missed any, each session is different and led by an instructor. Just register above and join the fun.
After filling out your registration, you will be sent a Zoom link for the time and day that the sessions are scheduled. To join, all you need to do is click the zoom link.
Make sure that you have a safe, clear space/room to dance in before each session, ensuring there are no trip hazards etc. We recommend having a drink to hand and making sure that you are comfortable with the appropriate footwear/clothing. When you register, you will receive some key safety instructions to follow.
Don't worry. This is about having fun and about going at your own pace. If you can't attend a session, it will not mean you cannot attend any other subsequent sessions.
No, you can pick and mix what suits you best. You can attend the Zoom sessions without taking part in the Inclusive Dance Day and you can be part of the online Inclusive Dance Day without doing any of the Zoom sessions. You are also free to explore the library of pre-recorded videos at your leisure.
No, all of the sessions are completely free thanks to funding from This Girl Can.
Yes, we welcome all disabled women and girls, whether you have danced before or not. This is an opportunity for all abilities to come and experience the joy of dancing in the comfort of their own surroundings.

Each video is around 45-60 minutes long and includes a warm up and cool down. The bonus of using the pre-recorded videos is that you can pause it, rewind and replay as much as you like. All of the routines are suitable for everyone, so have a go at all of them.
The 1 performance video will be linked to the online Inclusive Dance Day, where everyone can come together to perform.
